Distinguished Legal Advisor Louie Mossos Joins Third Reading as Vice President

We’re excited to announce that distinguished legal advisor Elias “Louie” Mossos has joined Third Reading Consulting Group as our new Vice President.
With more than 20 years of experience in and around Illinois government, Louie brings a deep bench of legal, policy, and strategic expertise to our team. His public sector career includes high-impact roles such as:

  • Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives
  • Assistant Attorney General
  • Senior Legal Counsel to the Illinois Senate President

After leaving the legislature, Louie spent 12 years at a top-tier global lobbying and law firm, representing Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, and municipalities in navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes. His deep understanding of Illinois government allows him to cut through bureaucracy and help clients achieve real results.

Throughout his career, Louie has been a principal advisor on energy, telecommunications, and gaming policy and has helped lead major legislative initiatives that have shaped Illinois law. He is widely respected for his legal craftsmanship, strategic thinking, and ability to build bipartisan consensus.
